Dorothy A. Levi, 86, of Dallas, passed away Wednesday, July 15th, 2026, at Highland Manor, Exeter.

Born in Luzerne, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Vernitsky) Polisky.

Dorothy dedicated her entire career to serving others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She found purpose in helping others and touched countless lives through her kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. Her dedication to caring for others was more than a career—it was a calling.

A woman of deep and unwavering faith, Dorothy was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart. She found great fulfillment in sharing the message of Jesus Christ, listening to worship music, and watching Christian programming. Dorothy also enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking, spending cherished time with her family, watching television and movies, and shopping. Her faith, kindness, and love for others will remain a lasting legacy to all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Levi Sr.; her children, Timothy Levi, Pamela Hodorovic, Ronald Levi, and Thomas Levi; and her sisters, Martha Polisky, Irene Cook, and Margaret Yascur.

Surviving are her son, William T. Levi Jr.; grandchildren, Nicole Perrera, Candice Updyke, Ronald Levi Jr., Levi Updyke, Michael Levi, Jade Levi, Summer Levi, and Matthew Levi; great-grandchildren, Eden Perrera, Levi Perrera, Skylar Levi, Avery Levi, Ronald Levi III, and Esther Perrera.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11 am at Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home, 140 N. Main St., Shavertown. Family and friends may call from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memorial Shrine Park, Wyoming.
