Philip J. Neiman, Sr., 76, of Monroe Township, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Frank and Leona Neiman.

Philip was a graduate of Dallas High School and retired from Sears, but worked for many years as a parts manager at different companies.

Whether it be volunteering to play Santa at work, local senior centers, or outside of local businesses, Philip enjoyed bringing smiles and cheer during the Christmas season.

Philip had a lifelong passion for muscle cars and racing. He possessed an extensive knowledge of cars and took great pride in sharing that knowledge with his sons and others. He enjoyed teaching them how to work on and repair cars, passing along not only his knowledge, but memories and lessons that will remain with them for years to come.

In addition to his parents, Philip was preceded in death by his brother, Dave Neiman.

Surviving are his children, Philip Neiman, Jr.; Michael Neiman and his spouse, Adele; and Adam Neiman and Amanda; his grandson, Lloyd; two nephews; and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Philip's legacy will live on through the knowledge he passed down, the resilience he showed, the memories he created, and the many people whose lives he touched.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no public services or calling hours.
