Robert George Boone

February 8, 1937 – September 5, 2026

Robert G. Boone, 89, of Dallas, passed away peacefully at Allied Services Hospice Center on Labor Day weekend, as his earthly labors were complete.

Bob will be deeply missed by the love of his life Barbara; his four children; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and their families. In June, Bob and Barbara celebrated 70 years of marriage, a remarkable milestone that reflected a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and join in celebrating a life well lived on Saturday, September 26th, 2026 from 1pm to 2pm at Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home, Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown. Military honors, a Celebration of Life, and Masonic service will begin at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Bob’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
